Adian Miller

Adian Miller joined Barrett & Farahany in 2020. Her practice is focused on fighting for employees who have been denied their hard-earned wages or had their rights violated under federal law. She represents employees who have been wronged under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Ms. Miller strongly believes in the dignity of labor and believes the workplace should be safe and free of fear, intimidation, threats or discrimination. Ms. Miller has a broad range of prior legal experience, having worked for the government, various unions, nonprofits, a small plaintiff-side firm and a large defense firm.

As a law student in Washington, D.C., Ms. Miller clerked for the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the AFL-CIO, UFCW, and SEIU. While in Washington, she also gained experience in lobbying and legislative analysis; her experience in the development of the law helps inform her practice of it. She works tirelessly to represent her clients' interests and ensure her clients are fully informed and in control of their cases at all times. No matter the case, Ms. Miller is never afraid to fight the good fight.

In her spare time, Ms. Miller has volunteered in training re-entry populations and low-income workers regarding wage and hour laws, secured executive clemency for deserving clients, and represented domestic violence victims in acquiring protective orders. She loves to spend time with her ornery beagle, Sippers, and also enjoys exploring the finest dining, drinks and music that Atlanta has to offer.
