Detra Hicks

Detra Hicks is a Senior Associate Attorney at Barrett and Farahany. Before joining Barrett and Farahany, Detra worked for a boutique practice where she spent time on various matters but found the most rewarding was helping individuals navigate the complexities of employment disputes.

Detra received her law degree from the Emory University School of Law. After law school, Detra worked in the non-profit sector, developing enrichment programs for families and teens in underserved communities. With her mentorship program, Detra helped prepare a generation for college and beyond.

In her spare time, Detra enjoys writing, running, and traveling with her family.
