Carroll policy on security questioned
By Laura Tode – IR Staff Writer – 11/11/04 Carroll College’s campus security policies and crime reporting procedures are in violation of federal statutes, according to a review conducted by Daniel Carter, vice president of Security on Campus, a nonprofit organization that supports campus safety, advocates for victims of campus crime and acts as a watchdog for compliance with federal campus security statutes.
Carroll to review its discipline policies
By Laura Tode – IR Staff Writer – 12/16/04 In response to an alleged sexual assault that occurred about two weeks after the start of classes, Carroll College President Thomas Trebon announced Tuesday that an independent panel will review the college’s discipline and student judiciary policies, and reporting of criminal offenses to local law enforcement.
Football player kills himself after learning of rape charge
