Alan G. Crone
Alan G. Crone brings more than three decades of experience in employment law, complex litigation, business disputes, and strategic legal leadership. As the Founder and CEO of The Crone Law Firm, he built a highly respected practice known for combining thoughtful legal strategy with a strong commitment to achieving meaningful results for employees.
A fifth-generation Memphian, Alan has held numerous public service and leadership roles, including Chief Counsel for the Tennessee Department of Employment Security, Assistant Shelby County Attorney, and Special Counsel to the Mayor of Memphis. His recognitions include an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, multiple Super Lawyers selections in Labor and Employment, and the Holy Family Award from Catholic Charities of West Tennessee. He earned his BA and JD from Memphis State University and has long been active in the Memphis legal community.

Patrick Crone joins Barrett and Farahany with a strong dedication to advocating for individuals facing serious workplace challenges. A graduate of the University of Tennessee and the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, Patrick brings a people-focused approach to employment law and client advocacy shaped by his background in journalism and local media.
Alex Gass
Alex Gass brings substantial employment law experience and will play a key role in supporting the firm’s expansion into Missouri. A Missouri-based attorney and graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law, Alex focuses on wage and hour disputes, class actions, noncompetition agreements, and complex employment litigation, drawing on experience from both defense and employee-side practice.
