Amanda Farahany Quoted in Agenda Article “How Companies Contend With Discrimination Charges.”

Amanda Farahany was interviewed for an Agenda article “How Companies Contend With Discrimination Charges.”  In the article, Amanda notes that discrimination is still prevalent in workplaces, and that federal employment law doesn’t equip individuals with many legal protections. She went on to say that “courts have created a body of law that [has] told employers how to cover up discrimination and get away with it,” and “since courts limit the amount of money companies will be responsible for paying, boards and managers have the luxury of deciding ‘whether it’s in their financial interest to discriminate’.”
