Mandisa Annakie is an Associate Attorney with Barrett & Farahany. Before joining the firm, Mandisa worked as a staff attorney with the Alcovy Judicial Circuit in Newton and Walton Counties. There, she further developed her keen eye for detail and legal research, especially in contract matters. She also assisted entrepreneurs and small business owners through the start-up process and addressed their contract and intellectual property needs.
Mandisa earned her Juris Doctorate from Mercer University School of Law. She also attended Georgia State University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minored in English—Advanced Rhetoric and Composition. While in school, she interned with the Georgia Appleseed Center for Law & Justice and Syracuse University’s Cold Case Justice Initiative. She also competed nationally for her law school in client counseling and the Employment Law moot court.
Mandisa aims to help people navigate the complexities of the law and leave a lasting impact on her community. She volunteers with the Holmwood Past Students Association, Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, the State Bar of Georgia Diversity Program, and more.
