V. Severin Roberts of Barrett & Farahany Named to Super Lawyers for 2020

Posted by B&F System Admin | Nov 13, 2019

ATLANTA (November, 2019) –

Super Lawyers selects attorneys from more than 70 practice areas using a multiphase selection process that combines peer nominations and evaluations with independent research. Attorneys selected to the lists are evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.

“I'm honored that the work we do on behalf of those who seek justice for the wrongs they experience in the workplace is recognized by our peers,” Roberts said. “We're proud to give our clients a voice against those who are more powerful.”

Super Lawyers also selected Roberts as a Rising Star in 2019.

As head of Barrett & Farahany's Wage and Hour group, Roberts' practice is devoted to representing clients in employment law matters, with a particular focus on wage and hour litigation, including individual Fair Labor Standards Act claims and large collective actions. Roberts also represents clients in traditional employment litigation, including claims of sexual harassment, violations of the Family Medical Leave Act, and gender, pregnancy, race, age and disability discrimination.

Roberts is a graduate of Tulane University Law School and a member of the Georgia Bar. He is admitted to practice in the Northern and Middle Federal District Courts of Georgia, the 11th Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, the State of Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court.
