Atlanta Law Firm Teams Up to Host Charity Benefit for Haiti
Barrett & Farahany, LLP, LLP, an Atlanta based employment law firm has teamed up with pH Wine Merchant, a boutique wine store in Atlanta, to host a charity fundraiser on June 9. 2012 from 4:00 pm – 8:30 pm at pH Wine Merchant located at 200 Peachtree Hills Ave., NE, Atlanta, GA 30305.
The charity event will help raise awareness and funds to build a community center in the village of Vialet, Haiti to allow children to have a school, a church, adult vocational training facility and medical service center. Amanda Farahany, managing partner of Barrett & Farahany, LLP, LLP, who has been on the ground in Haiti summed up her feelings about this project with, “by funding the materials and labor for the village community center, we will be providing a helping hand. The funds raised will change their lives, allowing them to empower themselves for the future.”
100% of the funds raised from the event on June 9th will go directly to the construction of the community center itself. The cover is $50, great wine will be flowing and heavy hors d’oeuvres served. In addition there will be a silent auction.
