Maggie graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN with a B.A. degree in History.
After college, she worked in a variety of jobs, bank teller, cashier, receptionist, pharmacy tech, and an account representative, which all had customer service at their heart.
Once Maggie found employment law through her brother, Alan, she realized she could pair her customer service experience with meaningful work.
Maggie’s roles included being a legal investigator, an intake specialist, a case manager/paralegal & intake director.
Working as a legal investigator underlined for her how important it is to ask clients and their witnesses the right questions that lead to the salient facts.
Her role as an intake specialist taught her that simply listening to someone tell their narrative is valuable, while at the same time trying to detect any possible claims they might have.
Helping people who have gone through traumatic events, such as discrimination and wrongful termination, to get back on track is extremely rewarding.
During her downtime, Maggie enjoys traveling with family & friends, watching & talking about film, tv shows, college basketball (University of Memphis Tigers) & NFL football games, reading all types of fiction & non-fiction books (Crime thrillers & true crime stories are some of her favorites).
Browsing through a used bookstore, especially while traveling, is one thing she cannot pass up!
