Lacey Wilson is a law clerk with Barrett & Farahany’s Alabama Trial Practice Group and a third-year law student at Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham.
Lacey has worked in a variety of areas of the judicial system since she was a teenager, beginning as a clerk’s assistant in the Marion County Circuit Clerk’s Office in her hometown of Hamilton, Ala. She later clerked with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s mediation department and worked at a personal injury firm in Tuscaloosa.
Lacey graduated from the University of Alabama, where she majored in criminal justice and minored in sociology. Lacey finds employment law to be particularly fulfilling, as she understands how harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, unfair compensation and other injustices can harm hardworking employees. She aims to protect worker rights and hold employers accountable for their actions.
