Adeash AJ Lakraj joined Barrett & Farahany, LLP as an Associate Attorney in August 2015. AJ graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2012 with a B.S. in Political Science and minors in Psychology and Leadership studies.
He then went on to law school at Emory University and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2015. While at Emory University, AJ was the recipient of the following awards: Pro Bono Medalist, First Place in the ABA Labor and Employment Trial Advocacy Competition in 2013 and a finalist for the ABA Labor and Employment Trial Advocacy Competition in 2014.
AJ played a very active role in many organizations while at Emory. He was a member of the Student Bar Association where he served as a Public Defender; Emory Law Mock Trial Society where he served as Director of Finance; Emory Law and Religion Moot Court Society, South Asian Law Students Association and Lamar Inn of Court. He brings his commitment to serving the public by protecting employees’ rights. In his spare time, AJ enjoys working out, traveling, reading and furthering his legal education. AJ has a passion for trial advocacy and fighting for the people and their rights.
