Before joining Barrett & Farahany, Mandisa was a staff attorney with the Alcovy Judicial Circuit in Newton & Walton County. While there, she further developed her keen eye for detail and legal research, especially as it pertains to contract matters. She also helps entrepreneurs and small business owners start up their businesses and address their contract and intellectual property needs. While in school, she interned with the Georgia Appleseed Center for Law & Justice and Syracuse University’s Cold Case Justice Initiative and competed nationally for her law school in client counseling and the Employment Law moot court.
Mandisa attended Mercer University School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate. She also attended Georgia State University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in political science and minored in English – Advanced Rhetoric & Composition.
Mandisa aims to help people navigate the complexities of the law and leave a lasting impact on her community. She volunteers with the Holmwood Past Students Association, Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, the State Bar of Georgia Diversity Program, and more.
