In his nearly 25 years of practice, Tod has experience in many areas of the law, including personal injury and medical malpractice. Though he has handled matters throughout the country, his focus has been on representing clients throughout Illinois. He has had the opportunity to practice both in State and Federal Court and has extensive experience in utilizing alternative dispute resolution. Tod has taken numerous matters to verdict, including a complex traumatic brain injury case that lasted over a month.
Though he has represented defendants in litigation in the past, his true passion is to be there for those that have been wronged. Tod focuses on employment discrimination and ensuing that those who have been treated unfairly due to their race, sex, age or disability have the advocate they deserve. He represents employees who have been wrongfully terminated and those that have had to endure a hostile work environment.
Tod received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Benedictine University before attending DePaul University – School of Law. He was a member of the Moot Court and the Law Review.
When not advocating for his clients, Tod is active in his community volunteering as a coach and has been involved in the operation of various youth sport organizations.
