Atlanta Overtime Attorneys Fighting for Current & Former Employees
Nephron Pharmaceuticals employed Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives (“PSR's”) and did not pay the PSR's overtime for the hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
In February 2010, former employees of Nephron filed suit in federal court in Atlanta, Georgia accusing Nephron of failing to pay them the wages owed for overtime. The lawsuit accuses the company of uniformly and systematically violating the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act by not paying overtime eligible employees 1.5 times their regular rate.
The case is in its early stages and the Court has made no finding that Nephron is liable. However, eligible employees may be owed thousands of dollars in overtime pay. The law allows employees to recover double their actual overtime damages if the court finds that an employer willfully violated the law. The Plaintiffs allege that Nephron willfully violated the FLSA and therefore seek recovery of double their unpaid overtime, as well as litigation costs, expenses, and attorneys' fees.
If you believe you may be owed overtime pay from your time at Nephron Pharmaceuticals, our Atlanta overtime lawyers at Barrett & Farahany may be able to help. Call (404) 487-0903 today to schedule your complimentary attorney consultation.
