Joshua Cruz graduated from De La Salle University-Manila with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. His thesis focused on providing electricity to off-grid rural communities in the Philippines. He was an active member of the debate team where he competed as both debater and adjudicator. In 2017 and 2018, his team ranked in the top 32 teams of the Philippines. He was also awarded as the 3rd best adjudicator in Northern Luzon Intervarsity.
His professional experience includes Engineering, Writing, and Administrative Work. Joshua is an active member of his community, participating in feeding programs and medical outreach programs. He was also a regular tutor at the Tzu Chi Foundation's educational program for the underprivileged. His passions have always been directed towards the greater good.
In his spare time, Joshua enjoys ranking up in competitive video games and having endless conversations with new people and old friends.
