Dani Gabuna is a legal assistant at Barrett and Farahany. A recent graduate of Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines, she entered the workforce straight out of university, eager to gain hands-on experience in the legal field. Having majored in Diplomacy and International Relations, Dani's background mainly involves socio-political research and analysis.
In the summer of 2019, she interned with the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs under the Office of Middle East and African Affairs, dealing with various labor issues involving Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in the region, contributing to desk research for the Daily Presidential Briefer, and assisting in the organization of various events such as the African-Filipino Symposium, Eidul Adha celebrations, and the ASEAN Summit 2019 (PH Chapter). A passionate advocate of safe and legal labor migration, Dani briefly volunteered for the Center for Migrant Advocacy as a research assistant working on OFW help desks at local government units in Philippine provinces.
Dani's interests include music and fantasy fiction. Outside of work, you'll mostly find her scouring Youtube for whatever else would catch her attention.
